Croda launches animated timeline to showcase 100 years of innovation

Croda International Plc (“Croda”), the company that uses smart science to create high-performance ingredients and solutions that improve lives, today launches an animated historical timeline to mark its centenary year.
This timeline, created in-house, charts the progress of the company from its beginnings in 1925 and showcases key milestones and significant achievements in innovation and smart science. With exclusive photography from Croda’s image archive, it is a fascinating chronological exploration of our history, picking out key product launches, expansions, technological advancements, and strategic partnerships that have all combined to make Croda the most admired chemicals company that it is today.¹
Celebrating 100 years of smart science
Commenting on the animated timeline, Steve Foots, Group Chief Executive of Croda said:

The timeline provides a stunning visual walk-through of the journey that has shaped Croda as a global business. It begins with our foundation in 1925 to produce lanolin, a wax refined from sheep’s wool grease. The postwar period saw us become a public company and begin our international expansion, quickly establishing our reputation for creating critical ingredients for customer formulations including pioneering anti-ageing skin care. The 2000s saw Croda broaden its capabilities in sun care, fragrances, crop care, seed enhancement and vaccines, in line with our ambition to be the most sustainable supplier of innovative ingredients for Consumer Care and Life Sciences.
