Croda International Plc, the name behind high performance ingredients and technologies that are relied on by industries and consumers everywhere, are celebrating being ranked 11th Most Sustainable International Company by Barron’s, who are a leading source of financial news for the American Stock Exchange.
This Top 100 listing looks at the 1,000 largest publicly held companies by market value across 24 developed-country markets, excluding the United States that has its own Top 100. Calvert Research and Management, who is a leader in responsible investment management, conducted the research on behalf of Barron’s, looking though hundreds of environmental, social and governance factors.
Dr Terry Thistlethwaite, Vice President of Sustainability at Croda said: “This ranking directly compares us to some big competition and to be ranked 11th is a significant achievement, and something we take enormous pride in. To have our sustainability programme and the strides we are making to offer solutions to some of the challenges the world is facing, whilst minimising our environmental and social impacts, by using Smart Science to Improve Lives™ acknowledged like this is fantastic.
