Appointment of Chairman Designate
Croda International Plc, manufacturers of speciality chemical ingredients that enhance everyday consumer and industrial products, today announces that it has appointed Anita Frew as a Non-Executive Director and Chairman Designate. Anita will join the Board with immediate effect and will succeed Martin Flower as Chairman in September. Martin will then retire from the Board after ten years as Croda’s Chairman.
Anita has held board positions with both FTSE 100 and FTSE 250 companies across a range of sectors for the past eighteen years. She was on the board of Victrex plc, the speciality chemicals company, for fourteen years, including six years as Chairman. She is currently Deputy Chairman of Lloyds Banking Group PLC and Senior Independent Director of IMI plc.
On joining the Board, Anita will be appointed to the Nomination and Remuneration Committees and succeed Martin Flower as Chairman of the Nominations Committee in September 2015.
