Croda France opened in Paris in 1974 and is today located near Versailles, with commercial, logistics, accounting and administrative teams plus a local warehouse. Our manufacturing site in Chocques not only supports our customers but also local biodiversity through more than 50,000 bees onsite, with their natural honey shared with employees.

France is also home to Crodarom and Sederma, within our Beauty Actives business. Founded in 1998, Crodarom manufactures innovative plant extracts for personal care and industrial applications. Founded in 1964, Sederma develops active ingredients and innovative concepts for cosmetics. With a high performance claim substantiation laboratory, powerful in vitro, ex vivo and in vivo tests prove the efficacy of products.

Our fine fragrance business Parf’Ex, acquired by Croda subsidiary Iberchem in June 2021, is headquartered in Grasse.

Our dynamic teams in France are highly supportive of local charities and communities.
